I haven’t figured out why so many of the lawyers I followed in the past have stopped blogging on their own websites, and come to Substack.
It seems to me that doing that is just giving our content away to someone else to profit from, and doesn’t really bring us anything. If I understand correctly, Google still sees adding content to one’s website as a good thing, which demonstrates that the site is a living site, and maybe have some useful content.
For that reason, I haven’t been posting here. I’ve been posting — when I write something — on my own blog.
So, if you’re looking for me, try looking there.
And if anyone knows why I should be writing here instead of on my own blog, I’m happy to see your views in the comments.
